Harry has a proven track-record of delivering results and leading organizations to exceptional performance. Harry is the Director of Corporate Development at LumaSense Technologies, a roll-up in the $50 billion industrial sensors / test and measurement (T&M) market backed by Oak Investment Partners. He drives all aspects of the acquisition process: mapping industry segments and profiling companies, assessing strategic fit and qualifying sellers, valuation and deal structure, presentations to the board of directors, due diligence, close and integration. As LumaSense integrates the acquired companies, Harry is handling sales and sales strategy for Asia by working with end-users and OEMs, rationalizing multiple distribution channels, and opening offices in China and other locations. He is also integrating the back-office link between sales and operations.

Harry was the Director of Product Marketing at PathScale, a venture-backed startup that was acquired by QLogic for $109 million. PathScale developed InfiniBand interconnect silicon for Linux clusters. He also performed Product Management and Business Development roles, and was the Chair of the HyperTransport Consortium's Marketing Working Group. In addition to cluster interconnect, PathScale also had the industry's leading 64-bit compiler suite.

While at Sun Microsystems, Harry held several high-profile positions. He was the Product Program Manager for the Sun Fire V20z and V40z, two- and four-processor servers based on AMD chips. He drove the cross-functional team that was responsible for all product specifications, development, vendor selection, and "Go-To-Market" activities and drove Sun's eight-phase product life cycle process. Harry led a strategy team that recommended to the CEO's Portfolio Strategy Group a broad product line based on AMD chips that resulted in a major strategic alliance between Sun and AMD and the eventual introduction of six hardware products.

Harry's other roles at Sun included: Srategist for Sun's wireless/mobility group where he helped to redefine the way Sun attacked this large and important market; Ve nture Manager for the Corporate Strategy and Planning (M&A) group where he specialized in the digital media space; and Post-Acquisition Integration where he led the integration of an international software company.

Harry and his wife founded Golden Gate Biplane Adventures, Inc. to bring the Golden Age of aviation to residents of San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. They gave rides for two in an open-cockpit biplane. They sold the company to focus on their day jobs, but you can still get a ride by visiting the website -- and Fly the Dream!

Harry was a member of The Afterburners, a group of men and women fighter pilots who bring the discipline and methodologies used by military fighter piltos to the business world through training seminars, strategy workshops, and corporate coaching.

Harry earned an MBA (with honors) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in "Information: Strategy, Systems and Economics" with additional studies in finance and computer networking. He was a member of the Dean's Graduate Student Advisory Council, participated in Wharton's first Leadership Expedition to Ecuador, and authored a case study on mergers and acquisitions at a major high-tech company.

Prior to attending Wharton, Harry was a management consultant at Booz·Allen & Hamilton, Inc. where he participated in projects ranging from an Outsourcing and Privatization study (OMB Circular A-76) of the Navy's child development centers to a life-cycle cost estimate of a liquid rocket booster for the space shuttle to business process re-engineering for the County of San Diego. One of his project teams was nominated for a Professional Excellence Award, a very high honor within the firm.

Harry was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, flying the FA-18 Hornet in numerous domestic and international operations and exercises. He participated in Operation Southern Watch in support of United Nation's resolutions concerning Iraq in 1994-95 while assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 151 and the USS Constellation (CV-64).

Harry earned distinction as the top Navy graduate from flight school in 1992 out of nearly 1,000 officers. He was on the staff of the Presidential Commission on the Assignment of Women in Combat. His navy commendations include the Air Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Meritorious Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, among others.

Harry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1986. He is proud to have served as the "Joe Bruin" mascot for athletic and philanthropic events and was a four-year counselor at UniCamp, UCLA's camp for underprivileged children.

Harry is married to Loree Draude, also a former Naval Aviator and author of "She's Just Another Navy Pilot: An Aviator's Sea Journal". They reside in California.
